Overview of the GRIA OGSA-DAI Service
The GRIA OGSA-DAI Service is the server component of the GRIA OGSA-DAI package. Its purpose is to:
- Receive OGSA-DAI perform documents, execute queries on the database and return OGSA-DAI response documents.
- Configure and manage resources that are exposed to users. The service provides both a web-service (SOAP) and a web page interface to these operations.
The service is packaged as a web application archive (.WAR file) ready to be deployed to an Apache Tomcat server. The installation instructions explain in detail the procedure for setting up and configuring both Tomcat and the GRIA OGSA-DAI service.
